A magical experience in Bymarka
Join us on a magical 3-hour snowshoe hike through untouched winter landscapes! The adventure starts with Gråkallbanen, the world’s northernmost tram line, from Midtbyen up to Bymarka. Here you will enjoy fantastic panoramic views before we put on our snowshoes and set off on an unforgettable one- to two-hour winter hike with snowshoes.
The tour includes transportation, with 30 minutes each way, snowshoes and poles. Weather permitting, we will light a campfire along the way.
Perfect for all skill levels. No previous experience necessary.

Bonus activity depending on the weather: Relax by a cozy fire and enjoy delicious local snacks.
Level: Perfect for all skill levels. No prior experience needed. We will walk for about 1 hour with snowshoes.
Important to know before you go:
- The route may change, and the hiking location will be chosen based on the weather and road conditions on the day of the trip.
- In the autumn months of October and November, you can enjoy the colorful landscape before it is covered by a thick layer of snow. In winter, the landscape will be snow-covered.
- Make sure to dress warmly with good base layers and winter clothing, including warm shoes, a hat, mittens, a scarf, and wool socks.
