Musk ox adventures on Dovrefjell
On the mountains of Dovrefjell, you can find one of the world’s rarest animals – and possibly the rarest in Norway: the musk ox. With only 200-300 musk ox estimated to be living in Norway, the chances of seeing them while driving might not be the largest – though with an experienced guide, or a hike through the mountains, the chances significantly increase.
Keep your distance though, as the musk ox is faster than most imagine and very territorial.
