Munkeby Inn – accommodation for pilgrims

Munkeby InnThe farm in between the monasteries!

Whether you walking along the  pilgrimage route and are seeking peace of mind, or want an active family holiday in beautiful surroundings, you will be welcomed by Andrea and Espen at Munkeby Herberge with open arms and well-known Trøndelag hospitality. Munkeby Herberge offer accommodation with a simple standard, but with a lot of soul.

The farm is located by the pilgrimage route, between the ruins of Munkeby monastery and the new Munkeby Mariakloster. People have left their mark on this fascinating cultural landscape for thousands of years, and traces from both bronze- and Viking ages are evident wherever you turn.If you go on the pilgrimage route, Munkeby Herberge offers the rest you need after a long day.

Andrea and Espen are warm and hospitable people who really want you to have a good stay with them, regardless of purpose.
They have their feet firmly planted in history and together they have managed and taken care of the old buildings and built new accommodation in the barn, run a farm, hostel and café!

Andrea and Espen are always ready for storytelling, with a smile and something good to eat. You in the best hands when you are here at Munkeby!
